I received mine today and have the same problem. I think I found the sensor it is at the end of the common rail on the right and it looks like it has two cables. I cannot get this connector off to check but my box has come with a six pin male and female connectors which i do not think is right. Where did you purchase your chip mine was from Carperformanceparts.

Hi I could not get my hands in to get it off I have grazed knuckles and swore at the thing. I think they have made a mistake. There are two plugs on the chip 3 pin male which is grey and female black. the installation did not resemble the car at all

This is the reply I received today did you receive any responce?

Hi,

Many thanks for getting in contact with us.

According to our records the engine you have has the 6-pin connector, some of the Toyota engines have a 3-pin but it's quite rare.

What we will do is arrange for the 3-pin version to be sent out to you. We haven't got any stock of them at the moment but they should be arriving in the next couple of days, we'll get it sent out to you asap.

Thanks again,

Steve

Hi Guys,

Did you guys get anywhere with this problem? I ordered one for my Land Cruiser...A 3pin one arrived, but I required a 6pin from what I can see!!! So he sent out a 6pin, the didnt fit either!

Anyways, I have both tuning boxes with me and the guy hasnt replied to emails or answered the phone after I asked for a refund!

I've seen the reply Steve gave in regards to the 6pin been more comman than the 3pin, however, the guy told me the opposite when I spoke to him! Just wondering if anyone got anywhere with it as he seems to be abit of a cowboy?!

Thanks,

Tom

I eventually got mine fitted it was the six connector that I needed. The chip didn't make any difference the only thing it has done is turn on the engine management light. Even after taking the chip off the light is still on so I think it needs to go to the dealer to be reset.
