Battery For 1993 Hilux Surf 9jap Import!)

My brother in law has a 1993 2.4 diesel (JAP IMPORT) .He needs a new Battery but isnt sure of the size? He says hes been to a few places , but they didnt have any in stock? Ive done a search on the site, and saw Battery numbers on another post, but they were for a 3.0 litre. Would the Battery number be the same please?

Or!!!!!! could any battery which would fit the tray work it? Any advice gratefully recieved!

assuming you have two batteries fitted you will need 1x068 & 1x069
