Corolla D4d Possible Chip

Hi Guy's,

I have just purchased a D4D for the wife and will be selling the T-Sport shortly.

I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with power chips for the D4D's?

I have seen that TTE do one, but it is priced a bit to high for me.

I have also seen these one's

I have a PSI Powerbox on my 2006 Yaris and it is excellent. Plugs into fuel injectors. 5 mins to fit or remove.

I got mine from HERE Not a bad price for what you are getting and it does give the extra boost Only took about 10 mins to install and you will notice the difference easily

i,ve got my 2004 d4d (89) bhp corolla chipped

very pleased with results, smoother accel, better mpg + fits to the end of the injector rail in 10mins

got it from autotuninguk on eBay !!

for 100 quid plus postage. was a bit doubtful as first with eBay stuff but read the write up's on the unit and decided to buy !!

if you search on eBay for corolla chips (like i did) you should find it

they say it goes upto to 112 on the 2 litre engine and 110 on the 1.4

only thing was a problem was the connection plugs, ended up sending them a pic via email to match up, but worth the wait

also had the car in toyota 4 service 2 weeks ago and they informed me it would not invalidate the warranty, as they recommend this type of mod

they are from germany and are approved

on average i'm getting extra 3-5 mpg + it's very quick off the mark with a lot lot better torque !!!!
