Curren With Chassis Code St202/engine 3s-ge, But Real Engine Is A 3s-f

Hello, I live in Africa, and i just found out that the Celica i have it's really called a Curren because the front headlight are different from the 6th gen Celica. But my Curren has a chassis code of E-ST202-BLMVF and says the engine should be a 3S-GE but the real engine is a 3S-FE (not a twin-cam). Is this normal? i know thar car came from japan, but the Currens usually have a chassis code of E-ST206/E-ST207/E-ST208 and not E-ST202. I am really very confused, wrong chassis code, wrong engine... it's just weird. Anyone around here with Currens?
