Hiya,

Does my car (pre-facelift 2003) have a alarm siren? or does it use the horn?

Reason being, is because I got woken up by car alarm this morning, our drive joins to the neighbours driveway. So theres 4 cars parked side by side, 2 us and 2 him.

There werent any headlights flashing or indicators, just an annoying siren sound. It went off again 10 mins ago, as soon as I got out the front door the alarm stopped, so I couldnt tell if it was my car or not.

I'm 100% sure its not my mums car as it doesn't have an alarm, certain its the neighbours.

Please tell me my car doesn't have a siren so I can kick his front door down in the morning?

Far as i can remember it has both, horn and siren go off together. Set it off by accident couple of weeks ago
