Hi all, at last I have my Rav4 (should have been Monday am, but we won't go there!). I have to say that she is even more comfortable to drive than I expected and now has quite a few more miles on her..........back to work next week so won't be able to just go out for a spin when I feel like it!

I will post some pics one day soon, thanks to all those that gave me advice, I have definatly made the right choice. :yahoo:

haha

rear step - Catering quality stainless steel - cut to fit - £20 all in.

Sorry Kingo - couldn't resist - I've had one of those weeks!!

And its not even midnight!

Lelly - have great fun - you will! I've been so pleased with my 1994 model bought new, that I bought another 1994 model! Identical almost to the first, but in slightly better condition, and soon to be as fast.

And if you find any probs, then theres loads of nutters on here who won't answer it but will solve the worlds other problems!

Please don't be tempted to add another 2 doors to it like some have on this forum - wastes a perfectly good car

Hi kingo, thanks I will be after some side steps and maybe a 'push bar' for the front some time soon

Just one thing though, are they easy to fit?? as I won't let my hubby drive her, I might be the one having to fit them!

Hi Lelly and welcome - I put both the side steps and the push bar on my better half's Rav4.2 and yes, they are easy to fit as long as you read the instructions :bookworm: . Due to circumstances beyond my control (basically, my inate stupidity) I didn't read them properly so I wrestled with the side steps for quite a while before getting them on right. And the instructions are pictures!!! I drove poor Kingo half demented in the process, but he's been dead good about it and has promised not to mention it again on the forum :blushing: . Kingo's prices are unbeatable, by the way

Seriously, both the side steps and the push bar are easy to fit. The instructions are online here, just "Search AIM" for the vehicle, version etc and the accessory fitting manuals are all there. Removing the bumper for the push bar looks a bit daunting but the instructions are very clear and all the drilling points are already marked on the inside of the bumper. The finished result transforms a good looking vehicle into a great looking vehicle. The pictures of my handiwork are here

Good luck :driving:

Yep, it's your fault that I want them now! I saw your wifes rav on the picture board and think it looks fab, I think that great colour helps it as well.

I can feel some coming on sooner rather than later!
