Navi Button On Verso Tr

I've got an 06 Verso TR 2.2D that I got second hand (18 months old, 1 previous owner). On the radio unit there is a button marked "NAVI", plus the other buttons on the radio have additional actions that point to there being a Sat Nav option.

The salesrep just said to ignore it, but is thus button standard on all Versos/TRs? If not, does it suggest I actually have a non-screen Sat Nav option (as a friend had in their old Avensis estate) that would just require the Sat Nav CD to work? If so, where could I get a Sat Nav CD, or would I just be better off going for a TomTom or similar?

My 08 Verso does not have a NAVI button. The radio unit has the model number W53824 on it and it is the CD unit that plays MP3 discs. Standard for a T3/SR spec car.

My Verso ( not a TR)also has the navi button which serves no purpose !!!

The only way to get sat nav in the verso was by paying for it as an optional extra when new .

Regarding sat navs my personal opinion is while its very nice to have an in built sat nav updating the discs are expensive !!

As you probably know with Tomtom it is very easy to update the software and add new maps and to add a speed camera database such as Pocketgps (which I recommend it is better than any other system available )
