Sunroof Drain Holes Drain Pipe

If you ever get a wet carpet, water in the footwell, in a Celica check to see if the pipe connecting the sunroof drain holes to the drain pipe is still connected. Do this by using a washing liquid bottle filled with water to pour a little water, only a little down the sunroof drain holes. You cannot see the holes but they are front left corner and right corner. (Another check is if the lining is damp near the vanity mirror fixing then that would indicate a disconnection.) If it comes into the cabin then there is a good chance the connection has come apart. I took the trim off the inside of the A post , carefully of course, and very gently eased down the solid roof lining to expose the connection, you may need to unscrew the vanity mirror fixing screws. If you have small hands it is easy to push the pipes back together. Do all this very carefully.
