K Sport Coilover Development Opportunity?

Righto when i was in the Almera Owners Club, we dealt with a person called Kev Duckworth who works for Apex Performance... The are the sole distributor of K Sport Coilovers in the UK (www.ksport.co.uk)

Now there is no listing for the Toyota Aygo (as i already checked) HOWEVER i have been in contact with him and the result is if he can get a hold of standard shocks and springs then he can send them off to K Sport for development, which will take 10 weeks normally.

So the big question here is - anyone got any of the above spare? lol

I've so far sourced some shocks from a breaker in Manchester area selling a complete set of shocks for £293 or there abouts but Kev says he'd only need one from each end, regardless if its the LH or RH unit.

I can vouch for the quality of these items - they're lightweight and very good quality :D

A brand new set of four Aygo shocks is £141.75 FOR ALL FOUR

If K Sport are keen to develop some springs, maybe they should buy a set of shocks, it wont cost the earth, I will even give em some discount!

Missed the bit about wanting springs as well, lol but even so, another £100 would easily cover a pair of springs to try out

Does seem that a few hundred quid would be peanuts compared to all the testing costs you'd have to invest to create the product.

I could understand if they were worried that there wouldn't be enough demand to recoup costs, but at least if you develop something which works for the Aygo you get to sell it for two other cars at the same time.

i'd be more than happy to give them my whole car for the duration, bearing in mind i get some discount off the coilovers when theyre made ;)
