I don't think you can change it to miles/litre, you can change it to km/litre

The wife has taken the 4.2 to work (Friday's are small Rav days!) so I don't have the manual at the moment

The mix of units is because we buy in litres, and my display is in miles. perhaps km per litre might be better..

A bit of mental arithmetic - multiply the mpg by 2 and divide by 9.

e.g. 30 mpg = 30 x 2 / 9 = 6.7 mpl

In Ireland we changed to km a couple of years ago, and since about 2005 the vehicle's speedo etc has been in km. My better half's Rav4.2 2005 can display km/l, l/100km, and mpg. You toggle (or is it cycle) through the options - but I just can't remember how you do it at the moment

If no-one's come up with the answer this afternoon, I'll have a look in the handbook when I get home and post it here
