Just became member, noticed this.

If you dont really need it (lets face it, we can only pray that uk weather would warrent using a/c) why not disconnect the air con. and remove the drive belt to replace it with a shorter one, and then we have a slightly better fuel consumption.

ps. I am in the process of searching for help from anyone who has made this conversion and has a part no. for new belt size.
