Hi all! Bought an Aygo Blue as a first car a couple of months back, and been lurking here for awhile as a guest, and this forum has been awesome to finding out pretty much everything about it. Now I'm registered, and have a couple of questions of my own you can maybe help me with :)

Was wondering what the exact model number of a replacement interior light would be, and if its possible to fit an LED in there. I bought a couple of interior light LED bulbs cause they were really cheap, but they did'nt fit. Also, I got a stone chip awhile back, and have filled it with the 8M6 Mica Blue paint, but I maybe did'nt do it right and it's left noticeable 'blobs'. What would be the best way to get rid of those?

Many thanks, and keep up the good work! :)

For the paint you need to wet and dry it it all down and then get some spray rather than any touch up brush and spray the area. When spraying you need to do lots of small thin coats and leave it to dry in between times. Do not get impatient.

Start at 8am and finish at 9pm sort of thing.

Hi Aygo28Blue, welcome to the forum! :afro:

I can't answer the 'light' question, but with regards to the blobs of paint I would be very cautious about cutting back and respraying unless you are very confident with your painting skills. I would be more inclined to employ the services of a professional such as Chips Away or Paint Master. These guys can make short work of your problem for a very modest fee and their repair will be invisible.

Thanks guys! I will try the professionals sometime, but for now, I'll be happy with filling in any chips with the touch-up paint, even if it does leave blobs. I spent ages today washing and waxing her, and with time, I think the paint does blend in naturally. The road I drive to work is full of stones, and I was stationary when I got that nasty chip. Another car came in the opposite direction, flipped up a stone, and it sounded like a bullet hit the car lol. If it had've hit the glass, it would've shattered for sure. Can probably expect alot more of them :( I won't be selling her anytime soon though, thats for sure :)
