New Engine?

this is my first time here...nice to see there are a few Toyota fellas out there!

this is just a theoretical question (for now) - please don't laugh...

would it be possible to put a 3.0 V6 Camry engine into a '96er Corolla (just to raise the 114 HP up to 188)??

if possible, what else needs to be changed (gearbox, ...)?

anything is possible if u have enuf cash.

IF u do get the engine in u will need to change everything! gearbox, drive train, all the ellectrics, ecu..... everything.

uh, thats a lot to change

would that mean that I have to transfer all those parts (gearbox,..) from the Camry into the Corolla?

or is there a cheaper/easier way to squeeze out more HPs from the current Corolla engine (not talking about NOS now) ?
