a policeman runs into the back of me. I hadnt even nudged forward.

Hits the rear spare tyre, cracks the cover, gouges the bottom bumper with the lock, and creased in the back door.......!Removed! great.

My brother had a police motorbike drive into him and it was a nightmare to try and stop them proseceuting him for careless driving, let alone persuing a damages claim aganst the police.

IRRC, in court, amongst other tactics, the police claimed he had a defective side indicator - which was impossible as the car was not even fitted with them!!

I think the Monster that is Mills-McCartney lost her leg in an accident with the police and that took years to fight to get compo.
