I know that a thread was started a while a go on car mods and stuff but I didn't want to totally resurrect the dead.

I was wondering what people had done to their Aygo's recently in terms of both visual, engine and audio mods. I've just managed bugger all with mine right now is add the scuff guards and replace the licence plates with a more custom version (www.demonplates.com) Got the toyota Badge on it now...

Was thinking about doing the audio stuff when I had some more momeny, anyone got any recomendations on Speakers that I can replace the existing ones with in the door panels?

Im waiting and hoping Toyota design and put into production a better head unit since ive already changed the front Speakers and would rather fit a sub only if I had a better head unit.

Also been meaning to get around tinting my windows, ive had the rolls of film for a while now but have yet to do it.

Anyone got any tips when applying the film (in general and when applying to the Aygo if possible thanks)

Yes that the rear glass is a bitc to do and you have to do it in 3 pieces (take it off the car to work better.

Though the price is silly and there is no reason to fit a 4cyl turbo engine and only get 200bhp. Also 127mph off 200bhp, did they leave it in 4th?

2L turbo with 200bhp sounds about right to me. That is how much you get in the new Golf GTi but 127mph out of 200bhp is abit poor and also managing 60mph in 7.5s is very poor especially in size of an Aygo.

hi ive only just joined the club but ive got some fli Speakers and i got them from hold crofts they are quite gud sounding

Well so far? The words "sod" and "all" come to mind however i do have a custom engraved Richbrook Tax Disc Holder with a picture of an Aygo on it (I requested this off seller engraveit2008 off eBay)

Also gonna be getting a K&N Panel Filter off Demon Tweeks soon then seriously saving up for some Toyota Accessories - wanna add on loadsa Toyota stuff during the warranty so that any changes made are designed for the car :)

I found two door lock buttons for £1.00 in my local Total DIY show which matched the Blue perfectly. The only problem was they were too thick for the hole!. Wife would not let me file hole out (new car and all that) so they lived in the glove box until one day I spotted they would fit the back holes! Wife then agreed they looked good and I could make the front hole the mm or so bigger that they needed. Only trouble was Total had sold out!

I removed the underbonnet sound proofing today so I can hear the engine better. Does that work? Well not sure as it is so small anyway. Well at least it is a few hundred grammes reduction to aid acceleration. B) :D
