subjectRE: In need pistons

We can only make a minimum of 4 pistons.

The piston set with rings will cost $700.00

Thanks,

Now as they do only minimum 4 and i need only 3 i was thinking that if we order 3 sets (12 pistons) we would have for 4 cars and i wold check if they wold give us a discount for a bigger order.

So if anyone is intrested you can Pm me on nexia201@gmail.com

That's cool. If you use these pistons, will the crank and the bottom end also take the increased load or do you need to look at new crank bearings?

I think PaulT and his coilovers is probably at the different of the spectrum to SteveL. :)

It does go to show how many modifications you can do to this car, what is worthy to you is probably not worthy to someone else.

Have you seen they have done shift lights now on the My 107 forum? To me that is completely pointless, much more so than forged pistons or coilovers. Why do you need to be told when to upshift when you either have a speedo or even the aftermarket revcounter fitted? It should be !Removed! obvious, no? That's mods just for the sake of it.

Far better to fit big tyres and supercharger for speed and a petrol cap that does not need the key and the rear tail door that does not need the button pressing and the lift on the handle at the same time when your hands are full of shopping! Well, you can see my perversions :) Not that I have done that though, I'm too lazy

Paul.

i am looking at putting up the boost from 5psi to 10-12psi max so the internals of the aygo should still hold and handle the power.

And as what is the point for putting in forged pistons in an aygo engine is that if you fit a turbo to the engine and want to give it a certain ammount of boost you cant run the standard pistons .

Ps im looking at other ways like piston crown plating using std pistons.

Does anyoone know from where to get hold of a set of aygo pistons? and for how much
