My 4th Gen St/ Gt

Hey hows it goin,

I only got my car a few months ago and was goin to get the SX model with the 3SGE. But the old man went and bought me the ST of the same year :angry:

I was wondering if it is possible to fit a pod filter DIY and if so where do i put it?

Since my car has the 3SFE can i put in something like a 3SGE head and any other parts to make it like a 3SGE? or should i just do a transplant?

If you go for a transplant i'd recommend saving the extra and go for a GTE(turbo) engine. You could get one from an MR2. I believe it is possible to do the head swap but i doubt the expense would be worth it. The 3S engines have basically the same block so transplanting engines is 'relatively' straight forward. Would you not be better though to run the car for a couple of years to build up some insurance no claims then move up to a higher spec car?
