Corolla E10 - Dashboard Illumination

Hello everybody,

I need an information: what is the best way to change a defective light bulb in the dashboard of my Corolla E10 (1996)? I don't want to damage something by trying myself without to know what I am doing... It would be great if somebody would have also a few photos from that area.

1- Put steering wheel in lowest position.

2- Remove the 2 screws from top of dash trim

3- Pull the trim out

4- Remove 4 screws from dash

5- Pull and turn the dash a bit and take wire connectors out

-- Remove speedo cable if it is 1.3/1.4 (1.6 model does´nt have one)

6- Take dash out.
