Roof Box And Roof Bars

Hi,

I'm due to take delivery of my 5Dr Aygo Blue Slate MMT on Tuesday.

I've ordered roof bars for the five door car.

Does anyone know how to judge what size roof box would be appropriate. I intend to use it for my camping gear, tent etc but is there a maximum size?

I don't think size will be a problem, but the roof bars have a maximum weight. I think it might be 40kg from memory, but it will say on the blurb which comes with them.

I regularly put my sculling boat on the roof and that is eight metres long and still legal, but it only weighs 14kg.
