30k Service For The Aygo, 50k For The Saxo

Just thought id post up that had the 30K service on thursday.

Did the usual stuff like air filter, fuel filter etc.

Total £140.24 by RMB toyota Darlington.

89 pence of which went on screen wash....lol i swear i filled it up a few days ago lol. and £8.22 for a new wiper blade (but they did ask me before hand if I wanted them to replace it and i just said yea)

anyway got a few advisories and its going back in next week for some warranty work,

leaking water pump,

disk brakes are buggered as well.. but they said its covered by warranty which i was surprised about but im not going to argue.

Front pads worn. and front nearside tyre has 3mm of tread left. So im gunna swap the front and back ones round for the moment till i can afford some toyo proxies.

Also had my Saxo VTR in for a 50k service yesterday however this was in for a major service cos the last record of a service was done at 20k.

anyway i had.. oil filer, fuel filter etc changed spark plugs changed and timing belt changed too. Also had the tappets adjusted to.

got a few advistories for that too..

- near side ball join worn

- near side strut cracked

- exhaust blowing below the manifold.

Its got its M.O.T next month so need to to replace the strut and the ball joint and the garage is gunna try have a look at the exhaust system for me.

total was £220 by Manic Motors, East Bolton. (A peugeot and Citroen specialist) my Saxo never goes anywhere else.
