Wheel Alignment

Hi guys,

I'm goin to Nur next month and wanted to get my tracking done before I go (just fitted new tyres). I have a 1998 GT and was quoted £180+VAT from my local Toyota main dealer.

Is it worth the money or would a local tyre place be able to do it to the same standard? Can anyone recomend anywhere?

£180 + VAT is really taking the rip

You should be paying around £50 for Wheel Alignment, look for a dedicated Alignment outlet not a Tyre and Exhaust place which wont have the very expensive equipment needed. I can recommend somewhere but they are located in Nottingham which is too far for you to travel.

You might want to consider changing the Oil for something like 5W50 too.

I was there two years ago in a Porsche 944 Turbo, IIRC, it was 56 Euros for four laps.
