I have just had my new Aygo Blue delivered and although i can't fault the car I am having trouble with the bluetooth. the voice recognition seems to work Ok with the window down at about 70mph but as soon as I switch the fan on even to just the first setting the bluetooth does not reconise any commands.

I have read a previous post that said turn off anything that makes a noice but surely if it works when the window is down it should work when the vehicle is not moving, the window wound up and the fan on the lowest setting. Am I missing something?

Direction of dash fans blowing into the voice recognition mic?

I've tried it with the vents closed and the fan on but still no joy. I can't understand how it can work when the window is down and the wind and traffic noise but not at a standstill with the fan on.

I think I've figured the problem. It seems to be the centre air vent on the dash. the air blows directly at the microphone. I put the fan on full blast with it set to blow into the foot well and the voice recognition was fine. I'll put it down to a design fault.

I had a similar problem with my Sony ericsson kit.

Finally ended up sticking the microphone on the dash-

panel top left of the radio (I drive an LHD Aygo).

No problems since then...
