Northern Go-ape Meet!

So continuing with the above, im going to arrange this meet/event for sometime in August, most likely the begining of august on the weekend of 2nd/3rd August.

Location - Dalby Forrest near Scarborough

So then... Costs are £25 per person for the go-ape session which takes anything from 1.5 to 2 hours to complete the course which is devided into 6 small sections.

Then you have a £7 entrance fee per car to get into the place and park up.

For those who aint into all the tree hugging action then there are 3 different bike routes there, a large field where you can hold a BBQ going by what i saw and there are walking routes in and around the go-ape activities in the forrest.

There some restrictions in terms of height and age... please see below..

Participant Restrictions & Supervision

Minimum age - 10yrs

Minimum height - 1.4m (4ft7")

Maximum weight - 20.5 stones (130kg)

Under 18yr olds must be accompanied by a participating adult.

One participating adult can supervise EITHER two under 18 year olds (where one or both children are 10-15 years old) OR up to five 16-17 year olds. Participating adults may not supervise from the ground.

So before anyone asks... i aint going to hold anyones hand through the course!

I am going to try and keep the date around this time frame as i am off to Madrid later on in the month... :P

So what i want you lot to tell me is whether you can make it and if so then what day would suit you best?

p.s) we need to get a move on with this as it's only about 6/7 weeks away.

p.p.s) Im going to want the monies fully up front for the go-ape for obvious reasons which will be non refundable if you cant make it as the tickets will be paid for in advance.

The £7 payment to get into the place is paid at the gate.

i cannot give a definate yet with it being the weekend after the camping I might be a bit skint and unable to justify 25 quid but I might come and bring the bike, the hardest trail is very good fun

thats the problem we are going to have ya see...

since i aint going to JAE or Camping its easier for me to set this date.. July im off to the Nurburgring.. then end of August im off to Madrid so thats a no go and then by the time we hit september the weather starts to get rubbish.. and when i went yesterday it was chucking it down something chronic so i fancy a dry run next time..
