Hi Guys

I drive a Toyota AE91 manufactured in the year 1989.Of Late there are two warning lights that keep on appearing but vanish intermittently.One shows a Battery and the other one shows a sign that looks like a hot exhaust or something similar.They come on the same time and disappear simultenously.What is the indication suppose to mean?My mech can't get it right.Please Help!

Yes i have checked the fuses,the plug that goes to the alternator,replaced the alternator carbon brushes and cleaned the plugs that connects to the alternator and the fuse boxes.Still am getting the warning lights but the car is able to run.Am worried if one day the alternator fails or the Battery i won't able to know!Please help.
