The passenger door handle is broken.

My brother tried to open the door before it was unlocked (which obviously didn't open)

He then jokingly tried a few more times but ended up pulling too hard and broke the handle

So now the passenger door doesn't open from the outside.

It's just a bit of plastic that's snapped in the middle, so i could probably just carefully super glue it back together, but I don't really want to do that.

Can anyone tell me if I can get just the handle replaced on the door, and how much I'd be looking at if it's possible?

Cheers,

Jay

What model/year corolla do you have?

you may just need a £20 spending on a new handle

It was made in 1999, 1.3, I dont know what particular model of Corolla it is, I cant find anything in the docs.

If it's only going to be around £20 that's good, I didn't know if it could be done. Cheers.

your car is known as an E11

Hope you get it fixed quickly and cheaply.

Ask Parts-King on this forum, he is a main dealer that gives a big discount off new toyota parts to members of this forum.

the plastic handle shouldn't be to hard to get hold of, ask a breakers local to you, or parts king as directed. Don't forget you'll need to keep the lock barrel form the broken handle.
