My aygo gets excited sometimes and he speeds but i make sure he doesnt do it for too long ... i'm still in the 2 year probation period lol ... 4 more months to go hehe

I must admit i usually do at least 5 over the speed limit so i'd have been caught doing 45-50 if i thought it was a 40 haha

I know speeding is wrong but like Vicky's Aygo , mine gets excited ...

I don't have much truck with speed limits, with them all being multiples of 10 they obviously have no little scientific basis and are just figures that popped into some civil servants head.

Besides, it's not speed but kinetic energy and shape that is more important to safety, not pure speed. As an example if I let you stand on the motorway and there was a bycycle doing 30mph in the inside lane, an Aygo doing 20mph in the middle lane and a Challenger tank doing 10mph in the outside lane which lane would you prefer to stand in front of. If you believe "speed kills" then good luck with the tank :D

The best bit is that the buggers hold you up when there's no one coming round the roundabout and then will pull out in front of another car when they should be giving way!!!!

It's the same pulling out at junctions-they'll wait and wait when no one's coming,then pull out in front of you as you get close and proceed to tootle along at 20 mph!!!!

every morning I am behind this same person in their AYGO, and now, i use the right hand lane at the round a bout to go straight on as this person just seems to think the left lane is a parking space! it's too busy to stop, you have to juet keep a constant filter onto and off the roundabout

A selfish b***h in my street stops in the middle of the road to let a passenger out! If she pulled over, as she should, there would be room to get past her but, as she stops in the middle and it is right on a junction, anyone who drives up has to wait behind her.

Actually there is another thing on roundabouts old people do and that is sometimes stop to let you on. This always makes me laugh, sometimes you can be too curteous.

Aii I will agree, my mum is not bad yet (although she manages to drive everywhere in 5th gear) and she has a Jazz Sport (funny its classed as a 1.4 but has a 1339cc engine which by regulations makes it a 1.3)

Anyway, she is getting to the age of being old, and she has the car for it, so soon she will be the one in the way!

did have a major rant at myself in the car the other day which went something like this "what the bloody hell is the point of having a little nippy city car that is quick off the lights etc when every other bloody car take 20 mins to look in the high way code to see what green means and the remember where the acceleration pedal is" ..am certain that was prokvoked by a Jazz driver ..lol

Speed does'nt kill. Bad driving kills The cops should have better criminals to pursue than speeders I think. They're just too lazy to put in the effort, so they go for the easiest targets, as the government does with its fuel tax policy. Tax the poor to feed the rich!

people who dirve below the speed limit are just shocking... my nan will sit on the dual carriage way here (which is now a 60, not a 70) at 40mph :| FFS NAN what are you doing!?

people who dont go up to the speed limit cause other drivers to drive erratically!
