Aircondition Problem On Amazon Landcruiser

Hi everyone,

My Amazon Landcruiser is being fitted with a new airconditioning pump after the old one ceased up.

The mechanic is having problems with the new pump, as when fitted is making a terrible screetching

noise ( just like the old one did before it ceased up ... !) He has spoken to Toyota

main dealership who are unable to give him any advice because they have no info on imports.

He is concerned that the oil level is not correct and this may be interfering with the pump.

He says at the moment it is about 120 but the pump is still making a noise.

I am concerned that this pump may also become damaged. A friend has suggested that the condenser may be faulty.

Does anyone have any experience with this problem or any advice please ?

Thanks.

Kind regards ,

Lynette

When you say it's a new pump does that include the clutch pulley on the front, it's normally that part that makes the noise.

Or it could be the belt idler pulley.
