How To Disable Immobiliser On Toyota Estima Emina

Hi,

I have an 8 seater 1993 import model. It came with remote control alarm & immobiliser, but the ignition key is ordinary i.e. no chib in the key. Now the buttons on remote for alarm & immobiliser are going faulty. Car has central locking and also opens with the ignition key alone, but I need to open the door but remote control to be able to start the car.

Can any one advise on how to completly disable the alarm & immobiliser so that I am able to continue using the car with the ignition key alone. Toyota will charge me more than the value of the car to remove alarm & immobilier.

I read your reply to M. Asad. I have a 2001 Toyota Estima import from Japan with the new key which has the central locking feature. I lost the key. I have made a duplicate key which can open the door but will not start the engine. Apparently, there seems to be a transponder which does not allow the car to start.

Would you have any suggestions as to how I can overcome this problem. Thanks,
