Even thou I put supagard on my car 2 weeks ago I have been left with a rather nasty mark on my aygo's roof where a bird has defecated! It must have only been there a few hours when i was in work but it had dried :(

Is there any products out there to try and remove marks where the birdlime has disfigured the lacquer finish? :(

If you'd gone for the Platinum, Jeff, you wouldn't notice it. ;)

Seriously though, I've always found Autoglym SRP to be really good at sorting bird muck out. It won't always get it perfect, but it WILL always make it a lot less noticable.

That’s not a very good advert for supaguard. If it can’t protect your car from bird poo for a few hours what chance does it stand from other contaminants?

I’ve been using AutoGlym polish for years and years and have never suffered with any paint issues from bird mess or other stuff that may appear on my car.

A good coat of super resin polish or aqua wax will give it great protection

Got the same on the bottom of one of my doors. Nothing stays perfect forever in any case, unless you leave it locked up in a garage ;)

Well its hard to believe but its gone!

I have looked at the exact same area and the blemish has gone! I used the supagard bird lime neutraliser i got in my aftercare pack and wiped it down only a few hours after the nasty bird did its business, the mark was still clearly there. However it has completely gone now, no idea how but it has!
