D4-d Injectors

Hello to all, I am new to the forum.

I have a D4-D 1.4 liter engine Yaris which I bought Dec 2003. Up to the now the cars has done 155000 kilometers. For the last couple of months it feels like I am losing a lot of power. I took the car to go through a diagnostics test and the mechanic told me that everything is ok regarding the car. The only issue that seems to be the problem is the injectors. The problem with these injectors in combination with my engine which is common rail is that they can not be cleaned and they need to be replaced, since once you clean them they become very noisy. If I were to change them it would cost me around 3000 Euro. I would like to know whether someone else on the forum has faced this problem and whether somebody knows of any solutions.

Also I would appreciate if someone knows how much these injectors cost abroad (perhaps UK), since as I told you above in Cyprus (where I reside), it would cost around 3000 Euro to change them.

Any suggestions, recommendations, solutions are more than welcome.

Thank you very much.

Hi Vangies...

In the UK we have a product called REDEX which can be poored into your fuel and it claims to clean the injectors. You could try that or something similar before you spend so much money. It only costs about £3 a bottle here.
