Hope someone can help clear this up.

We have a petrol yaris 1999/diesel rav4.2, both have a mode display; mpg /av mpg / av mph. The newly aquired yaris diesel (05) only has one mode av mph!.

I would like somone to look at there dash and let me know what is displayed under the trip button.

if there is a fault my car is still under toyota warranty!

Welcome to TOC.....................I have moved your duplicated posts.

If I remember correctly the diesel yaris did not have the full mode display, only the Average MPH.

No doubt there will be a diesel owner along soon to answer your question with some authority

The Mk1 yaris D4D did not have a average MPG reading but the new one does.
