Scangauge For A '94 Carina E

Hi, I would like to use a Scangauge in my '94 Carina E Xli simply to provide a constant MPG readout to help me improve my current average (46). I've looked around the interior fuses area put cannot see the suitable plug point, does anyone know if my 1994 model has a suitable plug in point anywhere, the picture shows the rectangular scart type lead provided with the scangauge which I assume is the normal diagnostic type? Thanks.

I have located the computer plug-in point in the engine compartment and it does not look to be the usual scart shaped connection, looks like I'll have to get onto the Scangauge people and see if they do adaptors, I'm not holding out much hope since they are based in the U.S. where the Carina E was not available.
