Brought One!

Hi guys,

I posted a forum a few days ago regarding rav 4 valuations and just wanted to let you know that I brought one today.

Managed to get an immaculate 2001 Rav 4 D4D NV with 62k on the clock for 5.5k with 12 months MOT and 6 months warrenty. Comes with FSH by Toyota and is very clean. Checked glasses guide before I brought and it was priced at £6450 retail so feeling OK!

It's very noisy though, that's going to take a while to get used to after driving a Focus - it feels more like a tractor!

Nice RAV...Did it come with the blue thing on the roof :unsure:

Sure the Diesel's are a bit noisy..but also great cars for long journeys as the motor just soaks up the long miles with ease..and you get to your destination relaxed..

Best get some back to black for those bumpers...

Congratulations; I am a little concerned about the mileage though. Do not race it too much until the engine is well run in. Don't worry about the noise, it is a good sign that the engine is running. Good luck !!!

Only just sorted insurance out today (was delivered yesterday) so haven't driven it - shall take her out tonight to pick my girlfriend up. It's quieter though, probably due to the service etc. And they cleaned her up really well inside and out - a good service all round.

Insurance quotes were wild - from £366 to £2564!!! It doesn't help that we are going through a claim with our last car.
