ST185 (also know as the 1-weight-5 due to it being the heaviest of the GT4 line) has the pop up lights and between 200-220bhp .

the st205 only has 2 variants WRC and non WRC. the WRC has extra bits on for homologation of the rally car. these bits are a spray bar, antilag and water injection, non of it works as it is deactivated and will cost a fair bit to get working and will most likely blow up the engine in about 5 mins.

unless you want the limited editionness of the WRC just look for a good std example. preferably with a recent clutch and lower arms/fig8's as you can easily add £1500 if these need doing. also if it has a bleed / relief valve fitted id look else where.

st185 is the earlier pop light version that ran from 1990 to 93, this came standard body and wide body versions, and a carlos sainz version with a different bonnet bumper and other changes, the st205 is the later version with twin lights, this version has the same bonnet as on the sainz, but has more power as standard (240bhp as opposed to the 185s 200bhp) and came with superstrut suspension as standard, and of course both of these (plus the st162) had rally car versions, as for which to buy, its up to your taste and budget really, the sainz version is hard to find, and i think more pricey, the normal st185 should be cheaper, but it depends what condition its in, and the st205 if you ask me looks better, but thats just my opinion, if you want to find out more try these links
