T180 Window Tinting

Hi,

I have just bought a black T180 3dr.

I am hoping to get the back windows tinted like the SR.

Can someone tell me what percentage of tint that I should get?

I don't know the specific tint for the SR but would guess at around 25% (meaning 25% of the available light is getting through).

I have tinted my T180 to 50% at the rears and 75% at the fronts (none on windscreen obviously). I didn't want a blatant change from 25% to 100% across the side of my car, and wanted to still see clearly when reversing at night. You can sort of see from the pictures what I mean, but it is difficult as the film is a bit reflective.

I have 15% Llumar tints all over on my Auris; every window, except the windshield. Here are some pictures of it...

You can see the outside through windows clearly during daytime, slight darkened but just a little. However, during nighttime, if there is no light source like street lamps or similar, I have to roll my side windows down, to see the side mirrors, otherwise, it's almost pitch black. You can't see the sidewalk at all, unless you roll the windows down. If there's a street lamp, or light coming from a store sign or something, I don't need to roll my windows down.

Also, the rear window is almost same. In pitch dark environments, you can see the rear a little, if you turn on your rear fog light and use the brakes slightly to light the all 3 red lights. This way, you can see, though everything in a red shade. Reverse gear light is not enough. So I have to use the side mirrors in no light environments, like a truck. :)
