Heated Door Mirrors?

Just owned my 2005 CTS a couple of weeks, from the manual it's not too clear how to turn on the heated door mirrors, I am presuming that having the rear windscreen heater on also turns on the heated mirrors?

Also does the 2005 CTS have a heated front windscreen or does that button to the right of the rear windscreen heater just create airflow to the front windscreen?

Yea heater mirror come on with the rear windscreen switch.

Think that switch is just for air flow, i think ford have a patent on the heated quick clear windscreen. Not 100% sure of that thou

You can get a heated front screen on MINIs too. Not sure if it's available on UK cars though. Probably the Ford patent thing...

The quick clear is handy. I do miss my Mondeo sometimes, depreciation free motoring, 7 or 8 year old, perfect time to buy a Mondeo, some other poor sods lost all his money owning it :D
