My problem is that my windsheild wipers and fluiid work as they choose. Sometimes they'll turn on as they choose. My toyota dealer cant find anything wrong and of course the work just fine the days i bring it to a mecanc. Ive been given many theories as to what may be wrong. Has anyone else had this problem with their Paseo? And if so how was it finaly resolved.

Haven't heard of this problem, sounds electrical related.

Welcome to the club though!

seen this on other models before, but not on the paseo, their should be a control box for the wipers (like the brain) would remove and reconnect this 1st, making sure all terminals are clean,. If this fails change it, should be the same as many other toyota models, prob go for a 2nd hand one as a new one will probably be pricey. If that fails change the switch. Without looking at it, its difficult to say which it is. Not sure where the control box is but will have a look next time im under the bonnet.

I have the same problem on my 1994 model. You turn windshield wipers on, they stop and work again whenever they want, unless you turn them off, of course B) So I just ignore it :D
