I have my n95 hooked up to the bluetooth and it isnt that big a deal that it doesnt tell me when I get a text message.

BUT, I use my n95 for gps. I use the Garmin Mobile XT Software and it works PERFECTLY. However If I have the n95

connected to the bluetooth in the aygo, the voice directions do not work. I think the phone thinks it should be coming out of

the bluetooth module. I have tried turning off the bluetooth connection and then the directions work again but its a bit inconveinent to have to do that. Id ideally like to be able to do phone calls and have the GPS going at the same time.

Can this be fixed?

no bluetooth kit tells you about texts

I remember reading somewhere that the aygo can tell you when you get a text but as I said it isnt a big deal.

In the GPS software there are no options for bluetooth, just the audio volume which I have at 100 percent.

The phone must think it shoudl go through the bluetooth unit seeing as the car is used for Speakers and mic when I get

a phonecall. It means If i want to use the car for phone calls I cant use the GPS and vice versa.

Might as well also randomly ask in here, is there a way to get the aygo stereo to control my iPhone when using it as an ipod? as in change tracks, pause resumet etc

When my nokia is connected through bluetooth to my headunit (Pioneer bluetooth unit) the ringer goes through the car Speakers.

When my mates n95 is connected to his motorola bluetooth kit he can hear the buttons he presses through the car Speakers.

I think it all depends on what bluetooth kit you have.

IE. sounds on mine only happen when I am recieving a call but my friends motorola one you can hear the buttons presses all the time (and the ringer).

In The Netherland Toyota actually offer a system now.

Not sure what it will cost, but the partnumber according to the AIM is

a combination of PZ473-00261-A0 and PZ457-90261-00 for LHD cars...
