I have just got a gt4 with Big End nock and oil light on is there any members worked on the bottom end ?

Any tips

yeah get a replacement crank and at least one conrod as if its knocking that bad they will be stuffed. may be worth shopping round to get a second hand engine.

it all depends on your budget, ian smith at TR&D in nottingham(01159680666) charges £3k for a full forged rebuild fitted this is basicaly a fully reconditioned engine but with forged pistons and ARP head bolts also in the case of an ST-185 a steel head gasket too
