You have stuff inside that wheel arch liner, you air injection pump is inside there with pipes and cables. In those picture none of that equipment is there, i dont do know is if fitted to the American model, i cant see the pipe running across the top of the rad and the air switching valves is missing from the side of the engine block, also the inlet manifold is plastic on thats model. Is it the 1zz fe? Rocker cover looks like the 2zz ge.

You may have more problem than you think fitting it, just my thoughts

Looks cheap, which is nice, but you'd need an aftermarket ECU though to advance the timing enough to take advantage, otherwise it'll just run safer with no gains. PowerFC is 450ish plus allow about 250 for a tune, before you've started.

Although if you are spending that sort of money, might as well do it properly and spend an extra couple of hundred and chargecool it. Normally 10-15% gain over an intercooler. PWR make some very tasty and effective barrel chargecoolers. chargecooler.co.uk (sometimes down) has kits, so does thor racing, although I have seen them on eBay.

I'd love to know the gains on a compressor. Doesnt look like anyone on here has done it or anywhere else I've looked! Although the Blitz 2zz s/c kit uses the same Ogura Tx12 supercharger and I think the boost is about the same (if not identical) and that gets 250ish with the intercooler and remapped ecu

someone put on here a while ago that it's bout 35bhp gain fittin an intercooler kit to a compresor, one of these and a apexi power FC would make a hell of different in power, the power FC can control everything in the engine but i asked bout these couple of weeks ago an i was told company who make these have gone bust so might be hard to get one especially with compressors bein a rare car not a lot out there for them
