I've changed the plugs, leads, rotar arm, dissy cap. But I still have an intermittent misfire. Plus it moves between the cylinders so I don't think it's a injector problem. One minute 3 will miss then 2 then sometimes 4. Did you ever solve your problem? Any suggestions would be welcome.
jayzee787 Posted November 28, 2008 Posted November 28, 2008 HI there iv just had my carina back from toyota today it kept misfiring when it got hot i was told by toyota to use some injector cleaner first of all a few months back and this did cure it now they have changed the injectors under the aa warranty repair cover and problem solved. it happened with my last carina aswell and i bought some recon injectors but they were no good it just seems to be a common fault as they have weak injectors
