Ball Cocks. Brake Disc(s) Cracked!

Well, after 20k. one of my black diamond brake discs has started to crack through one of the drill holes. Admittedly I did drive the car very fast and did have a few big stops but nonetheless, they cracked!

Not impressed, I phoned them up and they couldn't give a stuff. So I'm going to buy 3G/Brembo as replacements. Hopefully they should be here friday.

Thats messed up.....if they sold you performance brakes which diamond brake discs are for then if they crack they should replace....if you were doing that on standards understandable but brake discs and pads are wear and tear so its understandable they can refuse.

Haven't had any problems with Tarox Sport Japan drilled and grooved on the front of my Corolla

i don't think the cross drilling isn't that bad, provided you know where to put them. Brembo/AP have been doing it for years. Ironically it was Fensport that i bought the discs off,

I'm properly well peeved off.

I've gone for 3g 20 grooved all the way round with EBC Ceramic redstuff.

i'm on about blackdiamonds - about to order some Tarox but cant decide between the sport japan or the grooved? shame they dont do rears to match as it looks much better. i,ve heard gen7 celica discs are the same size but would obviously require drilling as i think tarox do the rears.

i had black diamond predator pads on the car, they were okay but never as good as the blackdiamond/EBC combo i had on my old starlet.

I'm going to write them a letter of complaint, this sucks.

Ah man thats bad luck.

I know that Black Daimond use a lot of remanufactured parts for their "performance" clutches so id steer well away from them but i think 20 and a crack is totally below par. Definately write to them, if they have any regard for their brand image they will at least do you the courtesy of a reply..
