interesting how you give the recommended fitment on 16's as 205. when i take me standard rims for new treads they complain that the 205's are a very tight fit and 195's should be fitted - might have something to do with how stiff the sidewalls on SO-3's are?

I have fitted 205/50x16's to quite a few E12's with standard rims and have never had a problem fitting them, yes.. some tyres have a stiffer wall and can be a little tighter to go on, but they go on without a problem.

Maybe it's difficult for the garage you went to due to the type of equipment they have, if they are useing a baisic tyre machine then it can be really hard and there is a danger they can scratch the wheels.

That's a lovely CTS there!

One thing I dislike about the Facelift is that I can't change the grille. :( I love that shade of green!

cool, looks better for it methinks

It sits a little too high on standard wheels and springs.

Just had an e-mail back from prolex today as well, they have a few TOM's Racing barrell rear silencers, so may have to buy one of those as well as a TOM's front Strut Brace :D :yahoo:

I have 19x7 offset 40 with 215/35 tyres and d2 coils.

Had some rubbing in front arches when it was very low, but after it was lifted a bit it didn't rub at all.
