Little Problems

hey,

i just got my first toyota and theres a few things that need doing to it,

1)gunna replace the radiator to see if it solves the overheating problem, does anyone know the best place to get new radiators (cheap)

2)we have got a chip in our windscreen , i checked with autoglass online and they should be able to try to repair it, but if not then we will need to get it replaced, the only thing is i cant find prices anywere for how much this would cost, iv seached the web and cant find anything,so has anyone got any ideas on how much it would cost to replace the windscreen in a toyota lucida?

If the windscreen isn't repairable, won't your insurance help you out, with a fixed fee of between £50 and £100...?

If you have to fork out for it yourself, you could be looking at £500ish

Are you sure you need a new rad? can be costly.

Mebbe there are a couple of other things to try out first? such as checking the thermostat is working correctly ...or you could have a air block or a leak.
