The red Sunchaser has been an everyday car/weekend show car for the past 3 years. I put a limited mileage of 2000 a year in the first year, had to increase it to 3000 for the seond year and 5000 for the third year. I've just had my renewal and the mileage for this year totalled 5068 so only just within the limit !!!

My solution was to buy the silver Sunchaser in the pic. This is on my everyday car policy so should be able to keep the red one for best now. I've had it for a fortnight now and done 350 miles already

That picture of the 1000 takes me back a few years !!!

My first Toyota was a 1976 'P reg 1000' mustard yellow B)

I sold it with over 120,000 miles on the clock and it was still going well. I replaced it with a 1978 'S reg' 3 door Corolla 30 saloon.

Yeah sorry about that. I had been in contact with his nephew a few weeks before and was trying to find time to go and see it. I then had an e-mail to say it had just gone on eBay that Sunday so I arranged to view on the Tuesday and bought it there and then. I think the eBay thing might have been to force my hand a little :rolleyes:

I've had it two weeks now. I had to service the front brakes, I've put some RA40XT alloys on and ditched the 1970's rear spoiler and it's nearly done 400 miles now with no problems.

I've very pleased with it as it will take the pressure of my bodyshop man for tidying the red one up next month.
