Brake Discs

Hi,

First post on this forum, but have been reading around.

I have a Toyota Corolla E12.

I changed my brake pads yesterday, and i noticed my front break disk moves on the studs.

Is this normal as it seems strange that the discs wont be 100% central meaning uneven wear?

thanks!

Colin.

I changed my disks only a week ago and they were solid! Saying that, it's 'cos they hadn't been changed for a while!

Once your calipers are back in place they should line up fine, if they haven't then you may have a prob.

I THINK it's normal that they'll be loose if they're not too old, as the wheel actually holds them on! There's no screws or the like to hold them in place as with other cars.

Someone corret me if I'm wrong here please!

Perfectly normal, they are held tight when the wheel is on
