Hi

Can anyone recommend the best Oil and Filter for my 2004 Avensis T3 Spirit Tourer, and also is it a straight forward job to renew brake pads on this model, and which pads are best.

Hi

For a recent car like yours, I would always recommend fitting genuine parts supplied by Toyota. If you are doing the work yourself, the Dealer Receipt will give any future buyer of the car confidence that the vehicle has been properly maintained.

As far as oil is concerned, My local dealer always seems to be able to sell it at a competative price. For the amount you would save by shopping around, it's not really worth the effort.

All Toyota brake systems are extremely DIY friendly. If you are spending around £60 at the dealer they should be happy to give a 2-3 minute explaination to the fitting quirks of your brake set-up.

I can do you genuine oil filters and pads at trade prices, PM your Reg/Chassis number for prices. ANY good brand 5w/30 semi synthetic will do for your car, expect to pay £15-£17 ish

Kingo
