Hi everyone,

Im still in the process of looking for a decent gen7 celica as out of the 3 i have seriously looked at all have had a hidden past. I think i may have found one now but its sitting at 63k and would i be right in thinking it would be due a service at 65k?

Ive tried searching the site for a list of service intervals and whats involved but could find anything. Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction of where i could find this information. Im just basically wanting to know whats involved and what the likely cost is going to be as i need to take this into account first of all.

As to what's "involved", when you read the Service Book it will answer your question.

Gen 7's are due an Intermediate at 1year/10K, 3year/30K and so on. The Major is due at 2year/20K, 4year/40k and so on. The 63k example SHOULD therefore have had a Major inc. new Iridium Spark Plugs (assuming it's a 190) at 6 years or 60K whichever comes first.

As regards costs, they vary from Dealer to Dealer so it pays to shop around. As a ball park, I would have thought around £130 and £300. Hope that gives you some idea Scott.

thanks thats exactly what i was after mate, im looking at the 190 edition, it comes with a full service history so ill know to look to make sure the 20 and 40k services were carried out, when is the next major service due?
