Drivers Door Tweeter

hi

does anyone where i could get a drivers door tweeter, my went pop. i phoned toyota and they want £40 plus vat for it.

Order a new set of two! and just wire them to your existing Speakers! they generally cost about 30 quid for a good pair of tweeters toyota tweeters are cheaply made along with the Speakers but putting new tweeters in should be simple and straight fit. just get the right size and plug them in to the wires.

the speaker is fitted to a special bracket, i'm not usre if another speaker will fit to it.

it may just be putting screws and drilling into different parts of the bracket for the new tweeter as they tend to all come in the same size.

Sounds like something you can easily get from a breakers yard, if you remove the old one leaving the wires on show go the the scrappy take the new one off the old car, connect it to the exposed wires and if it works buy it.

I doubt the tweeter is limited to the T-Sport so other E12 Corolla's will have them on.

Hi there! the e12s dont have tweeters i think only the t sport got them as standard. it would be hard from a breakers because there are hardly any t sports breaking! i tried really hard to find some only either old shape 1.4s etc which dont have them.

try parts king or go aftermarket.

Considering i've changed my tweeters in my car, you can find them in other models apart from the T-Sports.

I think they are only found in T-spirits and T-Sport models only, but i'm sure someone out there can prove me otherwise.

If i can find my old set of tweeters, which i think i know where they are, would you want to make me an offer of buying them, cheaper than what Mr T. want to sell them for

I changed my tweeters from the Toyota's to my Diamond Audio M5 components.

After a bit of tweeking, that's where they still sitting.
