Corolla Airbag Warning Light

My wifes 52 plate corolla air bag warning light has come on. the dealer says the NSTK airbag sensor is faulty and needs to be replaced - cost £427 inc vat for fitting - the part is apparently £355. Does this seem right.

i can give you the code to reset the airbag light, then you can see if it comes on again? dealer might be trying to pull a fast one.

What does NSTK stand for?

don't know - the paperwork says N/STK sensor, airbag £300.55 each - part Y89170 - 02180 - might be the whole airbag assembly. Will get it done next week - don't want it going off or not going off.

I think it's the main airbag ECU. Still expensive, but better than being quoted that price for just a sensor..
